How to play

Open safe cells. Each number tells how many interference nodes touch that cell.

02

Controls

Click or tap to scan. Use Flag Mode or right-click to mark a suspected node.

03

Rules & result

Reveal all safe cells to win. Opening an interference node ends the scan.

04

Scoring tip

A clue equal to its adjacent hidden cells means every one can be flagged.

How Mine Signal works

The board is generated in the browser and validated against the protocol rules after each move. No network request is needed to create or solve a round. Restart creates a clean state without reloading the page, and optional records remain on this device.

Accessibility and devices

The game uses visible text feedback in addition to color. Controls are keyboard-focusable, touch targets are at least 44 pixels, and motion is reduced when your system requests it.

Protocol notes

Is every board solvable?+

The first scanned cell and its neighbors are always safe.

How many nodes are hidden?+

Desktop and tablet fields use ten nodes on an 8 by 8 grid. Narrow phones use a touch-friendly 6 by 6 field with six nodes.
