Editorial & testing policy

Every published protocol must be playable, understandable, original in presentation, and honest about what it does.

What we publish

Relay Nine publishes small browser games created for this collection. Each release needs a complete objective, visible controls, a win or score condition, a restart path, and enough written guidance for a first-time player to begin without guessing.

How games are tested

Before publication, each protocol is checked for start, pause where applicable, restart, scoring or victory behavior, keyboard focus, touch alternatives, small-screen layout, and broken internal links. Automated checks also verify page titles, descriptions, headings, canonical links, image alternatives, game modules, cover files, and sitemap entries.

Writing and updates

Instructions, rules, scoring notes, and accessibility details are written for the specific game they accompany. If a rule or control changes, the relevant page should change with it. We do not publish invented player counts, ratings, testimonials, or rankings.

Artwork and assistance

Cover concepts are commissioned for Relay Nine and generated as original illustrations, then selected, cropped, compressed, named, and reviewed for their individual game pages. Generative tools may assist production, but the site does not use protected game characters, third-party logos, scraped screenshots, or downloaded commercial artwork.

Corrections

Functional bugs, unclear rules, misleading descriptions, accessibility barriers, and attribution concerns are correction priorities. Readers can report a problem through the contact page; useful reports include the game name, device, browser, and steps that produced the issue.

Commercial independence

Game inclusion and page copy are not sold placements. If advertising is introduced, it will be visually separated from game controls and editorial content, and this policy and the privacy notice will be updated to describe the live implementation.
